On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Hi,

I am using ZOOM version 6.2.2(2028) (minimum version required by my institution) and I cannot click with the mouse in any way when sharing my screen. This is very distruptive when doing presentation and working with others.

I am using Linux Mint 21.2, and I have also tried last zoom version (6.2.3

I am also facing the same issue ever since I upgraded my version to 6.2.3 (2056) . I am using Oracle Linux Server 8.10. I am a developer and need to use linux for daily work. This is causing lot of trouble in meetings.

I found a fix for this issue on linux. After starting the screen sharing open the annotate tool bar and select the "select" option and close the annotate tool bar. Now the mouse click will start working and able to navigate between apps using mouse.

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

Worked for me! It is quite eerie to have to go through such hops to just regain bare mouse functionalities... but at least now I can share my screen again.

I have version 6.2.6.2503 and for me, I have to click on the circular pencil icon that shows up in the top left of my screen (annotate) and then right click to cancel it.  I lose the ability to annotate after that, but at least I can click on my screen again - thank you for posting this!

Selecting "mouse" in annotate toolbar (default selection was "draw") bring back the mouse clicks.
My machine is Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

Thanks for your help

How about trying to disable the annotation in the web portal to see if the issue is gone? Some of the users could fix this issue this way.

That worked for me. Thanks
