Can I increase the capacity of Zoom meeting link after we launched it? Help!

Can I check if I can still increase the Zoom meeting link capacity from 500 to 1000 after I've sent out the Zoom link to all participants?

If you add a large meeting add-on to your meeting the meeting link will still be valid.

I increased the capacity from 500 to 1000 but only 500 participants can join. It’s a recurring meeting so I didn’t change the link. Do I need to create a new link?

If this is a meeting then you after ypur purchase the Large Meeting Add on you need to assign it to the host of the meeting. Zoom doesn't do this part for you. The account owner or an admin has to do this.

How to assign large meeting licenses to users

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation panel, click User Management, then Users.
3. Locate or search for the user who you want to assign a license to.
4. Click Edit at the end of the user entry.
5. Select the license you want to assign. Choose the radio button for the size of the license, if it is not automatically selected.
6. Click Save.
   The license is now applied to the user for immediate use. Any meetings they host, including already scheduled meetings, will have the larger capacity applied. There is no need to reschedule or edit existing meetings.
