Hello all,
We have stumbled across a bug with MP4 video sharing. Some videos, inexplicably, refuse to work with this feature.
For instance, here is a link to one video that works great. And here is another video that does not. Instead of showing, it just displays a black screen in Zoom. Both videos can however be opened with any other video player; they are simply a 1-second video containing an image.
How would we go about fixing this issue?
Solved! Go to Solution.

If ever anyone finds this and is interested, Zoom support has confirmed to us that this is actually a bug, and that a fix should be released sometime this month.

Your two videos are different resolutions and bitrates. Maybe that has something to do with it? Not sure.

Agreed @Rupert ; although the support docs claim that Zoom downscales the videos if necessary, so I wonder if there's a hidden maximum bitrate or something like that that isn't mentioned anywhere
