Beeping noise

Hello. I was on a zoom call that was going fine, and then all of a sudden I keep hearing a constant beeping noise. I am not using any headsets, headphones, bluetooth etc. Just using computer audio. The noise stops as soon as I exit the meeting. How do I stop this? I need to use Zoom for school and need this solved quickly. Thanks!

I had the same problem with same outcome, except that when I tried to log back in, firstly the letter c kept on entering itself into the password box, then when I cleared that, I had to enter password 4 times, first three times it told me incorrect password. then I rejoined meeting and it was OK. any thoughts about what caused this ?

I just encountered this problem. My other associates on Zoom were using a conference call system in the office that dropped their audio. The beeping was apparently a warning that they were not connected anymore and I could not hear them. Once they fixed their audio link the beeping stopped. Hope this helps!
