Audio suppression issues

Hello,

I am working with someone that is on the other end of a Zoom meeting and he’s experiencing audio suppression issues. The setting is in a church. He’s conducting ceremonies that utilize bells, singing bowls and also chanting from others in the roo. His voice is coming through crystal clear but the second that he strikes an instrument or others in the room begin chanting, it cuts everything out. We’ve tried every single audio option in the settings, but none of them allow the sounds to come through. He’s using the current version of Zoom on a newer MacBook and the microphone that he’s using is a Blue Yeti Logitech USB. He has also tried just using the built-in mic on the laptop but has the same results. Can anyone advise on how to remedy this?

The host needs to turn on "original sound for musicians" in both settings and in the upper right of the Zoom window.

Tried that, made no difference.

I recently had a similar issue it turned out to be my computer that was using an automatic default filter on the microphone, I'm on windows, but try looking for your sound settings and find input and locate the settings for the microphone look for anything like "audio enhancements" and make sure it is off. This issue didn't effect my external microphone so I'm not sure if this will be the issue but its worth a try.

Good luck
