Accepted Zoom invite via Outlook, but showing at the wrong time and date...?

I accepted an invite for an interview at 7am on 4/3, but as soon as I click "accept" in Outlook for Mac – the meeting lands at a completely different date and time 2am on 3/30. I tried going into my deleted items folder and accepting the invite for the correct time once again, but it continues to show incorrectly. This is extremely frustrating as this is an important call for a job interview. What is going on?

We have exactly this problem. We get email notices that say [some person] has joined our meeting and the message is dated Jun 4, 2024 05:00 PM Central Time (US and Canada). And the email notice specifies this same incorrect date and time EVERY TIME. The meeting in question begin at 6:00 pm central time -- and, as I am writing this on April 4, 2024, clearly, we haven't even reached June 4.

WHAT CAN IT DO TO FIX THIS ?????

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue.

This comes down to the structure of the ics file and it not being formatted correctly. You could create your own calendar invites in outlook and paste the Zoom link into that invite. If you want to automate this there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you send calendar invites with the Zoom link that are appropriately formatted to account for the timezone when added to your calendar.
