If I Join a Zoom meeting without signing in to my account, and after joining rename my name in a specific way, if the meeting host downloads the participation list, will my name show in that list? I joined Zoom without signing in, but renamed my name with my student ID. My faculty saying he will download the Zoom meeting participation list and run a code to detect student ID to give attendance, will my student ID show as i didn't join the meeting by signing in with my Zoom account?

hi sam007,

I think it works as you described.  i signed in to the test meeting with meeting id and password and entered my name as student.  this is screen shot from usage reports.
