Zoom on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS timeout on login and cannot connect

I have Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on my laptop. On trying to login to Zoom desktop application, it experiences a timeout during login and does not allow me login. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version 5.14 using the zoom_amd64.deb installer available on the zoom.us website. This issue has been happening since one month, so updates to Ubuntu OS and to Zoom have not fixed the issue. My proxy settings are set to System's proxy settings.

On the same laptop, Zoom works fine on Windows and on Web browser in Ubuntu OS. Only the Zoom application is not connecting and timing out at login.
