On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Every time Asking Permission

I created a Zoom app and followed all the necessary procedures. However, whenever I create a meeting for a user, it always prompts for permissions. Even after granting all the permissions, it still shows the prompt every time. How can I avoid this scenario?

If you're repeatedly being asked for permission when trying to verify your identity, it may be due to a few specific reasons or steps you're missing. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

General Tips:-
1. Browser or App Permissions:-

-Ensure that your browser or app has the necessary permissions enabled, such as access to your camera and microphone if you're required to take photos or videos.
-Clear your browser cache and cookies or reinstall the app to reset any settings that might be causing issues.
2. Consistent Information:- Make sure the information you provide is consistent across all verification attempts. Inconsistent information can trigger repeated verification requests.
3. Complete Each Step:- Follow through each verification step completely before moving on to the next. Sometimes partial or incomplete steps can lead to repeated permission requests.
Device-Specific Tips:-
On a Mobile Device:-
Permissions:- Go to your device settings and check that the app has the necessary permissions (e.g., Camera, Microphone, Storage).
Network:- Ensure you're on a stable Wi-Fi connection. Poor network connectivity can disrupt the verification process.
App Updates:- Make sure the app is updated to the latest version.
On a Computer:-
Browser Settings:-
-Check that your browser settings allow access to necessary components like the camera and microphone.
-Ensure pop-ups are enabled if the verification process requires them.
Extensions:- Disable any browser extensions that might interfere with the verification process.

Steps to Resolve the Issue:-
1. Restart Your Device:- Sometimes a simple restart can resolve permission issues.
2. Reinstall the App:- Uninstall and reinstall the app to ensure it's functioning correctly.
3. Update Software:- Ensure your device's operating system and the app/browser are up to date.
