trouble shooting audio

HI.  This is the first time using Zoom on my husbands laptop.  I have tested the audio and it all tests correctly.  I have double checked settings and it is all correct.  No one is muted.  Does anyone know why the audio is not working?  Please help. Thank you, PL

Hi ProfessorL,

Just a quick clarification- Is the issue both directions? Meaning not only can you not hear them, but they cannot hear you either?

Yes, the audio problem is in both directions
