Polls on IOS devices not displaying

As host, I start an attendance poll before others join. When participants join, they are presented with the poll. This works for most devices. However on some iPads and iPhones, they see a small message that says "The host has started a poll" which stays on their screen for about 2 seconds. They do not see the poll. I have thoroughly tested using the latest updates. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a setting that needs to be changed on the participants device?

@DonMichaels this is because of the "To hear others please join audio" dialog prevent the poll window from showing up. For this case, you need to open the poll window manually from "More" menu.  Or you can set auto connect your audio and mute microphone in Zoom More -> Settings(Meetings) -> Audio Section
