Microsoft Edge video not working

Zoom meetings worked fine for 2 years in Edge (Chromium) browser.

But since one update, I can't recall exactly the date, Video stopped working.

Now it is audio only.

Please help me.

1. make sure you are on the latest zoom release.  
2. reboot your computer
3. try to open in Chrome and see if you have the same issues

1. No, as I said, I don't use Zoom app, I'm using browser only.

2. Hundreds of times so far

3. It works in Chrome. However I can't install Chome or app on 1500 computers in company. Right now, there is an instruction for employees to deny Zoom meetings and ask for Teams meetings.

 

Please help me to figure out where the issue is. Thanks!

did you clear the browser cache?  Is the problem on 1 computer or all 1500 pc?

Are you on the latest Edge versio?  

According to the zoom support article:

  • Edge: Within 2 versions of current version

If this does not help I suggest you contact your Zoom account manager.

not all 1500 PC are having meetings. Maybe 200 of them but it may be more. I know that 20 reported to me that video isn't present during the meeting but as I said we are primarily using Teams so most of them aren't aware of the problem. We have about 10 paid licenses for HR department but they (only) use the app without any problem. One of them reports to me that Edge browser meetings app doesn't work after my request to test it in the browser.
No need to clean the cache since it is happening to a fresh Windows installation.
Yes, we are using the latest or up to one month old version in the worst case.
How can I contact Zoom account manager?

Oh i think i understand your issue.  If you are using TEAMS (and your TEAMS APP is open), then the camera is dedicated to that app.  Your camera cannot be used by Zoom.  You need to CLOSE YOUR TEAMS APP/TEAMS browser.  Best to REBOOT your computer.  Then Zoom Video will work.

in any case I suggest you write to Zoom Support in the browser bottom right.

 

Please, where exactly? In the browser bottom right is only red "end" button.

log into your account via zoom.us. Bottom right. Not in an actual meeting.

I didn't select "Turn off my video". It's Zoom default settings. However "start video" button is gray out.

did you unselect TURN OFF VIDEO?  Support is not in the zoom meeting but in your BROWSER zoom.us

Also tried  Disable hardware, it didn't help either.
