My zoom is driving me crazy! the mic and video won't work, although they work fine with Teams

Please help!

I tried everything, my microphone and camera won't start in Zoom meetings, although they work fine with Teams.

 

any thoughts?

Hi @Kholoud74, thank you for posting to the Zoom Community! 

 

Please try the following: 

1. Confirm permissions
Make sure Zoom has permission to use your microphone and camera in your device settings and browser. If you join on the web, your browser must allow microphone access when prompted.

 

2. Close other apps using your mic or camera
Teams, FaceTime, Meet, or any background app can block Zoom from accessing your devices. Fully quit those apps and try again.

 

3. Check your physical setup
Verify your devices are plugged in, selected in Zoom, and not muted or disabled.
