hey guys,
just installed and tried my first Zoom meeting (I'm on a Mac OSX latest version of both Zoom and OSX) and asked my counterpart to screenshare. She could share only certain windows but not the entire screen nor a specific window we needed. Do you have any sort of restriction on Windows based systems (the one she's using)?
Thanks

Hi marcofama,
Zoom screen sharing has no restrictions on Windows PC, but I have linked below some good reads on settings. When you are screen sharing during a Zoom meeting, you will see a green border around the area that is being shared. Additionally, you will have meeting controls that can be moved around your screen, along with a message box indicating "You are screen sharing" and a "Stop Share" button. This setup allows you to easily identify that your screen is being shared and what exactly is being shared with the other meeting participants.

Hope this helps! Otherwise, please feel free to connect with our Technical Support Team.

Thank you for your kind reply.
Nothing of that helped but, FYI and for those who'll come next, this issue is only EDGE related, as using Chrome it magically started sharing everything.
Hope this helps your devs to debug the issue
Take care

Hello,
In general, browser based sessions require you to allow screen sharing in the privacy / security section of the specific browser you are using. Is it possible that Zoom is allowed to screen share on your friend's computer in the privacy/ security settings of the Chrome browser, but not in Edge?
Regards
