Tech Soup Renewal and Scheduled Meetings

JRACraft

Our small non-profit renews every year with Techsoup to get a zoom discount. We host many online events through scheduled meetings and webinars.

We have found that if we schedule a meeting for an event and then renew our membership with the discount, our link for the meeting does not function and we need to create a brand new link for the event. Is there a way to avoid doing this? This has caused confusion in the past with our registrants as well as on our end.

We prefer to schedule our events in advance and distribute the links to people as they register.

Similar issue here. In order to renew with a TechSoup discount, you are required to first cancel your paid subscription on Zoom and then upgrade with the code. It's the craziest process and I'm wondering if it is designed intentionally to be difficult and prevent us from using it?
