Licenses for alternative hosts

 I really desperately need to add a licensed user for my Pro account. How do I add or pay for a licensed user to be an alternative host? I need the host to start the meeting and to be able to mute people. 

 

I have a pro account. The account message says that I can purchase more licenses for users on this account. HOWEVER, when I click on that link, it sends me to a main page and there is no place to purchase this additional license.

 

How do I buy a user license for someone to be an alternative host on my account?

Do I need a business license?

Hello,

 

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Billing.
  3. On the Current Plans tab, locate the plan you want to update, and click Edit Current Plan.
  4. Edit the plan by changing the number of licenses.
    Note: When you change the number of licenses, the quantity you select on this page should reflect the total licenses you need on the account, not just the additional licenses you want to purchase. For example, if you have 10 licenses and want to add 2 more, the number reflected on this screen should be 12, not 2. If you click the shopping cart icon, you will see the changes reflected in the shopping cart.
  5. Click Save & Continue.
  6. Review the changes. If correct, click Save & Continue.
  7. Click Place Order to complete your purchase.
    You will receive confirmation that your purchase was completed successfully and an email with the invoice attached.

Once you have purchased additional licenses, you will need to act as the account admin and assign the upgraded licenses to user(s) in your account.

Assigning a single license

Sign in to the Zoom web portal.

In the Admin section click User Management, then Users.
Using the search bar locate or search for the user who you want to assign a license. (Your own account)
Click Edit at the end of the user row.
This will open a window.
Choose the User Type to assign.




After choosing the User Type (Licensed),  select the license.
Click Save.


The license is now applied and you can use it immediately.

once a user is licensed on your account you can add them as an Alternative host.
