If I cancel current subscription and upgrade will I lose

I need more cloud storage than the 5gb I have - if I cancel my current subscription and upgrade to one that offers more cloud storage, will I lose the current recordings I have on my account? 

 

I really appreciate any advice. It seems so challenging to contact Support.

Hi there,

 

For Google Play subscriptions, you will indeed need to go through the cancellation process before being able to purchase additional storage space. Since the recordings are attached to the account you will not lose them as long as there are no more than a couple of days between the cancellation and new purchase.

Welcome to the Zoom Community!

 

There should be no need to cancel your subscription in order to purchase additional Cloud Recording storage. To upgrade your existing plan simply follow the instructions below:

 
  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Billing.
  3. Locate the plan you want to update and click Edit Current Plan.
  4. Edit the plan by changing the desired storage capacity.
  5. Click Save & Continue and complete your purchase.
 
You can choose between 30 GB, 200 GB, 1 TB and 5 TB of storage. For more detail on how to upgrade your add-on, please see our FAQ: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0063375

Hi, thank you for the reply. It isn't correct though. 

I have this message 

 

'Your Zoom Workplace Pro subscription was purchased through Google Play. Any changes to your subscription must be made through Google Play.

Your subscription is limited to a single license and cannot be upgraded. Need additional licenses, a different plan, or additional products? You will need to cancel your existing plan and purchase a new one directly from Zoom."

 

So ... Will I lose the recordings if I cancel via Google Play and resubscribe via Zoom?
