Mobile app: How to hide floating avatar during screen sharing

On the iOS app, when I share my phone screen, a floating image of my avatar covers portions of the screen.  I can drag it around, but I would really like it gone.

How do I remove the floating avatar?

Thanks,
Glenn

Solved it.  Flick the image off to the side of the screen.

I’ve noticed that floating avatar too when screen sharing on iOS. From what I’ve seen, Zoom doesn’t currently provide a direct option to completely remove it. The usual workaround is just dragging it to a corner where it blocks the least content, or turning off video before sharing.

Thanks for the reply.  I usually have one meeting per year where I have to share my phone screen, and I always forget how to address the floating avatar.  Eventually I remember the “flick trick” and it’s all good.
