Can you upgrade a Zoom Large Meeting during a live meeting?For example, if I start with capacity for 500 people and more people try to join, can I upgrade to 1,000 while the meeting is still running, without ending the meeting, signing out, or changing the existing Zoom link?Would love to hear from anyone who has actually done this.

I am located in Chicago, IL and I have a meeting set for people located in West Virginia to call into. However, there is no number listed for their location. The closest to them is the Washington DC phone number. Does anyone have an info on this? 

Hello Everyone:I've tried customizing the waiting room but users keep seeing the default zoom screen when they log on.I tested the various options - logo, image, etc. and successfully saved but it's not displaying on the users end. Also restarted the laptop to see if that would help, but it didn't. Signed out of Zoom settings as well, but that did not help either. Everything else I change has taken effect except the waiting room customization.*Pro licenseIs anyone able to assist?

I am 73 yo and not very tech savvy at all.  I have been a ZOOM user for a number of years - since COVID actually and it has always been easy for me to use its basic functions.  Recently I have somehow gotten into a scenario with Google Workspace I think that now my Zoom meetings are not responding the same way when I want to share a file on my computer ....etc..I am not savvy enough to figure out what I have done or how to fix it?  I use to just minimize a file I wanted to share on my laptop….tap the Share button inside a meeting ….. it pulled up a panel of things minimized and I selected what I wanted to Share and it would appear on the screen for the attendees to see ….. now I am getting into messages about “reclaiming the host” ...etc.. that I have never seen before and I cannot just use it like I was …..

Is there some way to pin a message in the chat so whenever someone joins late, they'll be able to see a pinned message in chat no matter how far up or down they scroll? If this isn't a feature, this really should have been implemented a while back. If it is an option, I am apparently oblivious to it. Any help would be appreciated! TIA!

Hi, I’ve been having this issue with my mouse cursor for a month. It started happening after I updated my Windows version to Windows 11, but I’m not sure whether these events are connected or not. When I’m sharing a PPT or Google Slides, which are the main content I usually share, everything works normally. However, whenever I need to transition to a new tab, such as Google Docs or Youtube, while still screen sharing, my mouse cursor completely disappears and I cannot do anything about it. It has been so frustrating, because I cannot click on anything, not even on “stop sharing”, and I just have to wait for it to be back. My students say they still see my mouse cursor as I’m moving it desperately trying to get its control back.  I have searched for a solution for this issue in this forum, but most of the results I got are from years and years ago, and none of the recommendations given solved my problem - such as updating Zoom’s version. Can someone please help me? I’d really appreciate

Been running into this issue for several months and everything I have tried has not worked. I have Only authenticated meeting participants and webinar attendees can join meetings and webinars turned on in the Account Settings. I have Read.ai, Otter.ai, Fathom.video blocked as domains. And I have Only authenticated users can join meetings from Web client turned on.Yet every meeting we have I have to kick several of these AI notetakers from our meetings. We don't want to have turn on Waiting Room for every meeting.As an admin can I not stop these from joining all the time?

Zoom updated yesterday and now all of my contacts have disappeared. Why? How do I get them back? I need them.

How do I kill Fathom. I have uninstalled it restarted my computer and it is still asking to load Fathom as I am trying to join a zoom call.It is iritating to say the least.It is like a cockroach infesting zoom.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is for the Zoom 5.13.11 app on Windows 10 Enterprise, when using the "Schedule Meeting" feature. I need to add a long list of invitee emails. Through trial and error I was able to figure out I could only enter 1 bare email address at a time, then hit space to convert it into an object, limited to no more than 64 characters per email address. There is no pop-up suggestion to guide the user on adding even the first email address, and I did not find any guidance in the docs nor here (so far).The field does not accept email standard list entries like "User Name <email address>", nor does it accept a comma-separated recipient list that might be copied from the recipients of an email application, which would seem like a sensible option. The one workaround I found was that I could paste a list of semi-colon-separated email addresses so long as no single pasted block exceeded 64 characters. Thankfully in vim I can quickly convert commas to semi-colons and break up the list

Zoom always resets my microphone input volume to about 1/4 of the maximum volume when I launch it. This means people in meetings can't hear me properly until I remember this silliness has happened and go to settings to increase my microphone input volume. I'm getting tired of this behaviour. Is there a way to make Zoom remember the last input volume (or a preselected input volume)? Thanks in advance for any help.

Anyone else seeing this issue right now?! Or is this working properly for anyone else? This same thing happened in early March of this year: Zoom Status - Issue where Zoom Rooms are not able to join Microsoft Teams Meetings.

In Zoom Pro, after creating a meeting, the meeting ID and password are sent to participants. However, when participants try to join the meeting using the Zoom client, they receive the error message: "Unable to join the meeting due to host account restrictions. Error code: 33002." Please provide assistance. Thank you. 

We did the latest update and now we are not able to setup meetings on our login on the terminal server. Only local is possible. It worked before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

For the past four meetings, my iPhone 14 camera has been auto zooming out anytime I move.  I have tried zooming in again but then it zooms out again. I've been emailing support back and forth and they told me to delete the app and reinstall.  Didn't help. They asked me to set the iPhone 14 camera on auto-lock.  Didn't help. They asked me to turn on "gestures" under meeting settings.  I don't have that feature under my meeting settings. I turned off "Follow Focus" under Zoom, Accessibility in my phone settings.  Didn't help. Is anyone else having this issue???   Has anyone solved this problem?  Is it an iPhone issue or a Zoom app issue??  

Has anyone been harassed as a non-host attendee? My condo management company doesn't control the monthly meetings..some anonymous man verbally assaulted me. Now the host won't give up the recording. They unmuted everyone simultaneously which is what allowed it.  I can't reach a human being at Zoom. The horrible AI driven company that it is.  I'm an elderly woman on disability.  

There are a variety of discussions in the Zoom Community about how to deal with bots, where the onus is on the users to try to stop the bots, one at a time, when they show up.We need a more comprehensive solution for users who run confidential meetings and (a) cannot run the risk of missing the presence of a bot that may record the meeting and (b) cannot waste precious time dealing with bots in the waiting room or in the meeting when that user is supposed to be running the meeting itself.We need Zoom to develop bot detection software and create a setting in the meeting settings that allows admins and hosts to designate that bots are prohibited from a particular meeting or all meetings.This is essential to all kinds of users.  I would think that businesses with IP protection concerns would already be breathing down Zoom’s neck to make this possible, as bots are serious threats to IP security.  In my case, confidentiality is essential for a different reason: personal information is share

I would like to use Zoom to grab product videos, and I see the green pencil button that I can move to whichever corner I want, but I could not remove. I found a Dock toolbar option, but when deactivating it, it did not change anything. How can I simply make that disappear in a meeting? I found a way to make the controls and the videos disappear but not the little green pencil icon. Thank you!

HI, I am using zoom on linuxno matter what i do i cant get the app icon to appear in the zoom toolbar when in a meetingi have apps available in the main zoom page but not the toolbar in a meeting which means i cant access the timer appi have synced to my online web settings and clicked the enable apps button still nothingcan you help?
