How can I make the annotation icon (pencil) disappear?

I would like to use Zoom to grab product videos, and I see the green pencil button that I can move to whichever corner I want, but I could not remove. I found a Dock toolbar option, but when deactivating it, it did not change anything. How can I simply make that disappear in a meeting? I found a way to make the controls and the videos disappear but not the little green pencil icon. Thank you!

If the annotation pencil is staying visible after a meeting or screen-sharing session, I’d first check whether annotation is still enabled for the current session. It may also be worth checking the meeting settings and toolbar options, since Zoom can keep annotation controls available depending on the sharing mode. Hopefully there’s a simple setting to hide the icon without disabling annotation completely.
