Zoom no longer performing like it was

I am 73 yo and not very tech savvy at all.  I have been a ZOOM user for a number of years - since COVID actually and it has always been easy for me to use its basic functions.  Recently I have somehow gotten into a scenario with Google Workspace I think that now my Zoom meetings are not responding the same way when I want to share a file on my computer ....etc..I am not savvy enough to figure out what I have done or how to fix it?  I use to just minimize a file I wanted to share on my laptop….tap the Share button inside a meeting ….. it pulled up a panel of things minimized and I selected what I wanted to Share and it would appear on the screen for the attendees to see ….. now I am getting into messages about “reclaiming the host” ...etc.. that I have never seen before and I cannot just use it like I was …..
