Adding participant to 500+ participants after the meeting has begun

Can you upgrade a Zoom Large Meeting during a live meeting?
For example, if I start with capacity for 500 people and more people try to join, can I upgrade to 1,000 while the meeting is still running, without ending the meeting, signing out, or changing the existing Zoom link?
Would love to hear from anyone who has actually done this.
