Hello  I tried to join a meeting with zoom on linux. I am logged into my account alright. But I still get asked to set my name and email. I enter THE EXACT SAME address with which I am logged on and get an error. Why is that?   

I am an individual. I do not own or run a business. I got a Zoom phone so I could talk and text and hold unlimited Zoom meetings with my family across the country. My account type is Pro (Named Host). We have Zoom phone set up and it has been working normally, but randomly started going directly to voicemail. No settings were changed and these calls are coming in during “open hours”. Not sure what setting to look at or what might be changing how the incoming calls are behaving.

After a recent Linux update, screen sharing is not working the same way for me.I can share one screen, but additional screens are no longer available to select.This setup worked fine before the update.I am using a multi-monitor setup and did not change any Zoom settings.Has anyone else seen this, or found a workaround?

Very odd. I cannot send above 360p anymore. I have all settings to HD and even checked 1080p in Advanced settings. Fullscreen, Ethernet, fast CPU, good uplink speed… Has anything at Zoom’s end changed?

I have a whiteboard that was saved earlier and I’m wondering if there’s a way to upload or re-import it into Zoom Whiteboard so I can continue editing or sharing it.Has anyone tried this or found a workaround? why cant i choose which email an invite is sent from.  I have two differently regulated firms.  must i have two accounts?

As the host of a webinar with over 200 participants who are not users in my account, I should have the ability to assign them to a specific breakout room, without having to give them the option to select a room.  The only options available are assign automatically or allow participants to select a room.  I have to choose allow participants to select a room because I don’t want them assigned automatically and then I assign them to the room they are supposed to be in.  However, they have the option to select a room.  There needs to be an option to assign manually, just like the option available for panelists.  As a webinar or webinar plus user, I should have MORE control, not less.

We have a large number of lecturers at our institute wanting to use Linux as their system (primarily, because they're teaching Linux directly or DevOps/develpment and it's nice to be on the same system you're teaching).  Problem is, Zoom Meetings app is borderline unusable when combined with remote support or screen share. Greatest issues are: 1. When providing remote support to a student, lecturers are unable to type certain keys - such as 's', 'p' and several others. Capitalised versions are fine, however certain keys are interpreted by the remote system as shortcuts. For example, when I press 'p' on the Linux machine, the macOS remote client 'beeps' - same beep as when an invalid key is pressed. Similarly, for example, pressing 'z' on Linux causes Mission Control to appear! This means we can't type anything (such as fixing commands or code) for our students.  2. Every time I click on a link sent to me for a Zoom meeting when using my laptop, a new Zoom installer package downloads. I have no option to refuse or cancel it. This never happens on my iPhone, even if I am signing in with both devices to the same meeting, meaning that the settings by the host aren't dictating that the download occurs (unless of course every single host has chosen to make laptops download the app but not phones). I’m a participant in a meeting and there is another participant whose camera doesn’t allow her live picture to be been. Hello, my friends!I have been using Zoom for a short time, but there is something that is bothering me. I use Word a lot to write texts, as I work in journalism, and every time I execute the shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + C" in Word (which is a very common shortcut in Word and one that I use frequently), the Zoom window for screen recording opens and I cannot execute the command in Word. In other words, Zoom has the same command as Word. However, even with Zoom closed, when I try to execute this command in Word, I am prevented because the computer understands that the command is for Zoom, not for Word.I would like you to help me go into Zoom settings and change this command, please, as it is greatly hindering my work!

Blurr worked when I first tried Zoom last night.  The virtual backgrounds don't work and give an error message that just says “an error occurred” (this is very bad programming to have such  useless error messages)The blur did work.  Now today the blur option has been moved to a different place and it too gives the useless error message “an error occurred”  (AGAIN VERY BAD AND SLOPPY PROGRAMMING)How can I get blur to work again?
