I can't get the color-picker tool to work on the whiteboard. I can add custom colors using the palette provided under the Pen tools menu. However, when I select the color-picker tool (also on the palette menu), I'm allowed to go through the motions of selecting a pixel on the screen, but no custom color is added to menu. What am I missing? [Zoom v6.5.0, Desktop App on a PC]
Hi allI'm at the end of my tether.Last week any meetings I scheduled appeared in my Apple calendar - I received reminders on my Macs, clicked the link and signed in - no problem. All of a sudden, this week - none of the meetings are syncing to my Mac - when I use the Zoom client desktop app calendar - there's no link ....what on earth is going on?!! HOW do I access my MEETINGS!!!!?!! 😩I've spent HOURS on this today - and the customer service is absolutely useless - full of people who haven't got a clue how to help you - and just copy and paste generic answers from a knowledge base!! 🤦🏻♀️I'm literally at the point where I'm going to have to look for another client!
I don't know when the change happened, but on Zoom Whiteboards, Sticky Notes were always created with middle-center aligned auto-sized font. Now when I create stickies, they have top left aligned 16 point font. They're basically just textboxes with a background color now. The whole point of stickes is that you and your team can read them at different magnifications. The new sticky behaviour makes Zoom Whiteboard undesirable for my staff so I can't get them to use it over other apps, since all other whiteboard apps have stickies that work like a normal human would expect. Am I missing something? Is there a hidden default settings pallete or something? Why did Zoom do this?
Does Zoom have any plans to add automation apis that can be used by the Shortcuts automation system on iOS and Mac OS? I'd like to be able to use that to do things like start a meeting, switch backgrounds based on location, switch audio/video based on location. An example of this is that I always use a background when calling from home but i don't want to use one when calling from the office. It is a clunky, multi-step process to switch backgrounds. If I could automate this using ShortCuts, I wouldn't need to worry about this.
Is it possible for me to pull a report of all the zoom meetings I attended? I really need this information
Hello. I'm trying to setup the video intercom feature described in this official KB: 73974.The environment is:2N IP Verso 2.0 - firmware 2.46.1.70.4Yealink T58W - firmare 150.86.30.10 Both of them are autoprovisioned.I'm unable to find the "video intercom toggle" to enable, as referred in the KB, under the policy tab of the device. Has anyone beed able to sort it out? Thanks a lotLP
I'm trying to transition my tutoring business to Zoom, but have been stopped cold by the whiteboard. Zoom's native whiteboard crashes when I load it up with multi-page PDFs, and their support have told me this is expected behavior. Using either Miro or Mural as integrated apps could work, but the normal touchpad controls are disabled (zoom in/out, specifically), making them too inconvenient to use. Zoom support has confirmed that this, too, is expected behavior. It's all adding up to a deal-breaker for me. Is anyone else having a similar experience? And if so, how are you coping?
I have two Zoom Workplace Pro accounts, recording a whiteboard with the same device, in the same place, with the same lighting, recorded in HD 720, and using the same Wi-Fi for my webinars. I record a screen where I present documents to my students. On one account, it looks perfectly clear, but on the other, the screen that I am recordings. Could you please help me? Thanks!
I expect that people who have access to a project in Whiteboards can work with all of the whiteboards inside the project. That does not seem to be the case. Why? What's the point of project permissions if additional work has to be done on all of the whiteboards to manage permissions that actually work?
We've been having intermittent connectivity issues with Zoom Phone on the Windows Desktop client. A popup on the Phone tab says 'Not Connected, Attempt to Reconnect'. Chat and meetings work fine but no phone. Usually a log out, then back into the Zoom client resolves it. Sometimes a reboot is needed. Network/internet are both stable. Seems to be randomly happening to several people in the office each day. No firewall changes, etc. have been made. Zoom support has yet to be able to figure it out. Any thoughts from the Zoom Community would be appreciated, thanks!
Hello everyone,I hope you're all doing well.I’ve been trying to set up a Zoom event with a fairly specific structure and have reached out to support multiple times. While I appreciate the links and resources provided, I’m still feeling quite lost and would really appreciate clearer guidance from someone who has experience with this setup. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:One main stage for general presentationsThree breakout rooms, each with the ability to present documents and videosEach room will have a dedicated host to manage the session, while someone else runs the main stageI also need to create a registration form that allows attendees to upload their CVs at the time of registrationI’m struggling to piece everything together, and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with the options and unclear instructions. If anyone can walk me through this step by step or point me to a clear and specific resource (or better yet, share your experience if you’ve done something similar), I’d be incredi
I have issue with the virtual agent when accessed through website. Please let me know if anyone can help with the situation. I have attached an Image with the post.
Hi! I tried searching for something on-point but I can't find my situation through search here. Problem: In the last few days, I cannot accept or place a Zoom Phone call on any device (iOS, Polycom desk phone). This is new. When I answer the phone, or when I try to place a call, I get the same message: "We are unable to complete your call due to restrictions set by your administrator." I am the only administrator and I have not set any restrictions, and checking the usual suspects isn't revealing anything that appears misconfigured. Anyone have any advice on this problem?
I hope for any help. My Zoom account has been restricted "permanently" due to the violation of the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Guidelines, which I did not have personal knowledge of. Upon checking the history of my computer use, I found that my trusted friend was using my Account to join unwanted activities. Now, because I am using Zoom in school and work, I am struggling to access my account. I can only access Zoom via the web version, not in the app. If necessary, I am willing to pay any applicable fines or take additional steps to rectify this situation and restore access to my Zoom account. I am committed to ensuring that such an incident does not occur again and will take all necessary precautions to maintain compliance moving forward.
Hello everyone.I hope you all are doing well. My university provided me with a business Zoom account. Everything seems to be in order, but I noticed that the recording button is missing. Is it possible that my university has intentionally hidden this button?I would greatly appreciate your time and consideration in addressing this issue.Thank you.
I work for a charity organisation which hosts monthly webinars. Our attendee audience is usually around the 300 mark. Recently, our admin people changed our Zoom license (I'm not quite sure why). The current state of our organisation's Zoom licenses is as follows: Zoom Workplace Pro 1 available, 9 usedZoom Webinars - 500 attendees 0 available, 1 used There are 3 of us who host webinars in rotation. Am I correct in assuming.....1. The person to whom the '500 attendees' license is assigned will definitely be able to continue to host webinars?2. The other two of us will need to purchase additional '500 attendees' licenses? ie. the license is for an individual not for the whole organisation? Many thanks,Simon
Hello Team Zoom, I bought a new Samsung Andriod tablet on the 30th March. Very expensive device. ZOOM worked fine until May. I went to China to deliver lectures...not using ZOOM. This week I needed ZOOM again and it does not work. It does the SSO login and instead of automatically launching the app, it just stops. I press the Launch ZOOM button on the webscreen and NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. I am exhausted. I have: 1. Cleared the cache on Chrome2. Installed and tried to use Microsoft Edge instead3. Uninstalled and reinstalled the apps.4. Did a Factory Reset SEVERAL times in the last 16 hours (including at least twice this morning). Still the same problem. On my old SAMSUNG Android tablet it works. On my expensive new one it does not yet it did before May. Please I beg of you for help as I have two online lectures to give on Monday and need ZOOM on the new tablet to work.
I recorded a zoom meeting just by clicking on the link provided. It was opened on the browser not via the app. I didn't sign in. After the meeting ends, I close the laptop. Today I opened it and tried to retrieve the video but can't find it anywhere not in documents not in downloads. The only thing I found in Downlaods is a link type Application.
Is there a way to set up an iphone to auto dial into a zoom meeting without having to also enter the passcode? For example, if someone is driving, can they just click a link that will get them into the call without having to enter a password and meeting code too? I was told you can program the numbers so you only have to click once on the link and it will auto dial everything for you. Thanks for any insight you can give me.
I am loosing my ****. I cannot get this to show up properly when I record my video. This is for a course and I am so very frustrated right now with this
Recently installed Zoom Rooms. When I enter the activation code for the room I created, it says Zoom Rooms needs to be upgraded. IT personal said there is no Firewall that would prevent from upgrading. Just wanted to see if anyone has experience this and what they did to solve the issue.
I use Acuity for my scheduling and it is integrated with Zoom. While the appointment shows up on my google calendar and acuity calendar, when I open up Zoom it says I have no meetings. It also gave me a message that I had to connect my calendar, which is weird b/c this used to work fine, and then it made me create a Zoom mail account. When I then tried to also link my google calendar, (thinking this might help), it said it was not available. I have no idea what to do. I am using Zoom workplace. Any support here would be gratefully appreciated.
I organized a webinar with a co-host, but I was registered as a regular attendee and wanted to post in the chat. However, I was only able to send messages to the "Hosts and presenters" chat. Some of the other attendees posted to the same chat, while others posted to the "Everyone" chat. What could be the reason for this? Did I configure something incorrectly in the settings?
Does anyone know how to retrieve a chat conversation from a zoom meeting earlier today?
Hi Zoom Community, I’ve been facing an issue during Zoom meetings where my audio intermittently cuts out, making it difficult to communicate. It happens randomly, whether I’m speaking or listening, and doesn’t seem to be tied to my internet connection as my video remains stable. I’ve tried troubleshooting by restarting Zoom, checking my microphone settings, and updating the app, but the problem continues. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone have suggestions on how to fix it? I’d appreciate any help! Thanks in advance!
