Calling into a Zoom meeting from an iphone

Is there a way to set up an iphone to auto dial into a zoom meeting without having to also enter the passcode? For example, if someone is driving, can they just click a link that will get them into the call without having to enter a password and meeting code too?  I was told you can program the numbers so you only have to click once on the link and it will auto dial everything for you.  Thanks for any insight you can give me.

Please remember that we should avoid handling and using the phone while driving. Also, using a clickable link may not be secure for your meetings.

That said, as far as I know, Zoom does not currently offer a way to generate a direct link for dialing into a meeting by phone.

However, I believe it may be possible to create a link or perhaps a QR code that includes the dial-in information.

Typically, if we add commas between the phone number and the meeting ID, the phone will pause for about one second before dialing or sending the next digits. A structure like the following might work:

tel:zoomdialinnumber,meetingid#,passcode#

As you can see, the # symbol (required by Zoom) is added at the end of both the meeting ID and the passcode. By testing different cases, you can determine whether more or fewer commas are needed between each part.

Here is an example:

tel:+16465588656,,12345678#,,1234#

If you'd like to use it as a clickable link, it could look like this:

<a href="tel:+16465588656,,12345678#,,1234#">

  Zoom Meeting: +1 646 558 8656,,12345678#,,1234#

</a>
