Problem StatementWe're experiencing media desynchronization when conducting Zoom meetings through a Windows 365 Cloud PC environment accessed from Mac endpoints. The primary symptom is audio-video timing misalignment during video conferences, suggesting potential issues with media processing pipeline optimization.Technical ConfigurationClient Hardware: Mac Mini (macOS Sonoma 14.5/14.6 & 15)Virtual Environment: Windows 365 Cloud PC with Zoom VDI clientZoom Architecture:Zoom VDI Client (Windows 365 cloud PC)Zoom VDI Plugin for Mac (local endpoint)Network Infrastructure: Consistent high-bandwidth connection verifiedSoftware Versions: Latest software releases of both VDI componentsSymptom AnalysisPrimary Issue: Persistent audio-video desynchronization with noticeable camera feed latencySecondary Effects: Intermittent echo artifacts requiring session restartConfiguration Impact: Mac-side Zoom adjustments yield no improvementPlugin Effectiveness: No observable performance differential wi
I use Zoom to teach Korean Professionals. I use the transcript feature to assist in administering lessons and offer feedback. Although those in the meeting are speaking English, The transcript is recording what they are saying in Korean. This has never happened before. Any insight as to how to change this would be greatly appreciated
We are slowly getting into Workspace Reservations, which we would like to use for shared rooms we use for workshops and desk places. A problem we have is, that when a room is already booked from 10:00 - 12:00 and another user wants to book it from 11-12:30, Zoom will change the reservation times to e.g. 12:00 - 13:30 on its own, trying to accommodate. And while you still have to confirm the booking, it’s rather easy to miss, that zoom changed the time and you actually aren’t booking the time slot you want. We have had “double booking” thanks to that.Is there any way to stop it from doing that or send a warning message at least?
I create a meeting using the Zoom scheduler app on my Apple iPhone. When I tried to enter invitees, the scheduler will accept some email addresses, but not all. More importantly, even if I fully type a valid email address the scheduler will ignore that address and not add the person.
I've recorded videos of me sharing a video. On my computer screen, the video is smooth. When I convert it using Zoom and look at it later, the video is laggy and choppy. I used screen castify to record as well. My recording on that is smooth and good. What is going on?
We recently created a server-to-server OAuth application for log ingestion into SIEM. This is set as an account-level app. Under scopes, there are 3 that are enabled:report:read:meeting_activity_log:admin report:read:operation_logs:admin report:read:user_activities:adminFor user level role permissions, the user who created the account has a custom Developer role, with various “View” permissions. While operation and user_activities logs show up correctly, meeting_activity logs come back with“GET https://api.zoom.us/v2/report/activities: {"code":200,"message":"No permission.”}”In user roles, we confirmed that under Reports, Usage Reports and User activity reports are enabled for view, along with Dashboard > Dashboard Home Page, Meetings, Zoom Rooms, Webinars, and Team Chat for view.As these permissions were added, the application was deactivated, rotated the secret, re-enabled, and tried the API again which is still receiving the same error. Zoom support confirmed that correct scopes
There is only one option “internal; speakers.” However, no sound is coming through from meetings I join. I do not have this problem when I host a meeting. The microphone works fine and I am NOT using headphones.
I have a MacBook Pro and Chrome browser that I am using for a live music recital. I struggle with knowing exactly how to set up the meeting with the correct audio settings for the Listener/Viewer. Do I determine the correct audio settings when I create the meeting or when I actually begin the meeting? I did this before and something wasn’t right but couldn’t determine what exactly was wrong. Grateful for some guidelines.Ed
I need to add two additional dates/times to a Zoom meeting with a registration link. Fortunately, as of today there is only one registration for the August meeting, but I am worried that if I add dates/times, I will lose that registration. I believe I can download that registrant and then re-register them, but I want to make sure the registration link doesn’t change. Does anyone know how I can do this?
I'm trying to understand the correct size for my Zoom profile photo. It keeps appearing blurry even though I have it set at a 1:1 radio and the image was high resolution. Any advice on how to create a profile photo that isn't blurry? When I update it on the Zoom web site under my Profile it shows as a correct resolution, but within any meeting it's very blurry and looks unprofessional.
On this page https://zoom.us/user/meeting/transcript#/transcripts there's only the information: No transcriptsYou are not allowing meeting hosts to retain and access meeting transcripts. Where do I allow the host to retain and access transcripts?
Hi,I am looking for a way to remove the persistent "Sign In" card/button in the meeting window (windows desktop app)We sign in to start the meeting in the browser, we are host of the meeting, but the desktop app keeps displaying ‘sign in’ on the top right. This ‘feature’ was added - and it sucks. We have concurrent meeting plus, so we can’t have zoom desktop signed into as many accounts as meetings we run simultaneously.
If you have deployed, or are thinking about deploying Zoom Virtual Agent then it is well worth enabling Quality Management for ZVA if you have a contact centre license. This brings your ZVA agents into scope for quality management & also includes auto scoring! Check out this short demo & think about the possibilities for evolving your virtual agent deployments. We are already using Auto QM ourselves to track how our virtual agents are performing & where customers are interacting with them in ways we weren’t anticipating.
I’m using Zoom Version: 7.1.5 (4332) on xubuntu 22.04. Starting from 7.0.x I noticed issue with entering Cyrillic ‘с’ and find the workaroung by changing enableCefOsrMode to false (enableCefOsrMode=false) in .config/zoomus.conf but after that change - the mouse scrolling doesn’t work anymore. Current version have same issue too.Is any way to have both items working as expected?
The Zoom desktop app keeps crashing or freezing. I'm using Fedora Linux. Please just provide a working app. The app is now so overloaded with unnecessary bloat that nothing surprises me anymore. On top of that, there are questionable features that intercept keystrokes in the chat window - what's that all about?
All - I did a search before posting this item. It doesn’t seem to have been raised before, so here is an option that I would like to have available. Rather than just muting participants, which sounds really abrupt, I would like the abilty to fade out their audio to silence. It seems much less jarring to me.AI said that I could use Voicemeter or a hardware deck to do so, but it would be great, I think, if that option just existed within Zoom natively. That’s it. Thank you for reading this.
The photo on my profile is different than the one that displays during a call.
If you missed Wednesday's bonus AMA, you missed a good one. No agenda, no slides — just an hour of real questions from real Zoom Events and Webinars Plus users, answered live. Here's what came out of it. HighlightsSimulive vs. Production Studio, settled once and for all. This comes up constantly, so we made Mike answer it properly: if your event repeats often and the content doesn't change much, Simulive is your friend — set it, forget it, let it run. If you want more flexibility (intro/outro/countdown videos, scene switching, playing a clip at exactly the right moment), Production Studio gives you that control. Mike's team runs their weekly YouTube shows entirely on Production Studio scenes for this reason. Want to watch Mike give the quick run down? here you go Certifications just got a lot more flexible. They now work across single, recurring, multi-session, and older/legacy events — previously you'd have had to duplicate a recurring session to add them. You can also manually push o
Is there an API for Suggested Tasks from Zoom
Hello All, We pay for subsription of the zoom meeting. We are based in Sydney, and deciding to share the meeting id to people in the asia. Few times, when the other user in Asia, logged into zoom, being asked to enter one time code. How to turn off this function about entering one time code?Reason is the access to the email for one time code is currently NOT available for the user in Asia. Many thanks in advance for your inputs. Thanks,Cynthia
This is for one-on-one recording of a podcast. I use a Samson Q2U; my guest last week was using a Blue Yeti mic. My internet was from a Fibe Network. My guest is a podcaster as well and records for his office. The quality from his end was muddy, something that does not happen with him when he does his own episodes. Can we review settings at my end to determine whether I have missed something. Can we keep advice simple; not familiar with some of the settings and their meaning? Would sending a sample of the recording help in providing an answer? I have several recordings coming up soon and I want to make sure I get this situation resolved. Thanks,Dave CunninghamThe Kingstonian Podcast
Hi Zoom team, we’re looking to integrate with the Zoom Notes product and wanted to confirm whether there is currently a public REST API available for accessing and managing Notes data.
Since the recent Zoom update to 7.1.0, the button to add custom emoji seems to have been removed from the desktop client. Has it been moved elsewhere, or is it just gone?
