The zoom app automatically logs me out just right after I log in. I installed and uninstalled it multiple times, using different versions but same issues persist. The AI companion is not helpful at all.
Hi, I have users that are members to Call Queue and enable automatic call recording in Call Queue Level Pollicy. In the user Policy the call recording is disabled. I need all the outbound calls from the Call queue to be recorded (it is already done) but when the member of the Call queue makes an internal call to not be recorded. is that possible? Thank you in advance.Alex
I have a requirement to collect Name, email address and postcode in a pre-chat window before starting a chat conversation. As far as I can see, this can't be done if you access the chat flow directly, you have to go via a campaign. In the campaign you can create a Welcome Screen and add fields. Unfortunately, there's no postcode option, just an address. So, is it possible to add a custom field like postcode? For a bonus point, I want to pre-populate these fields if the end user is logged into their account.
I was working with a instructor today who was attempting to play a video embedded in her PPT presentation. I could hear the video playing on her end, but it was also playing on my end simultaneously and at a significantly low volume. She had the "share sound" and "optimize for video sharing" both checked off. We also switched the audio settings from mono to stereo and vice versa. When she showed a video straight from YouTube, the audio/video transmission worked fine. This leads me to believe it's a disconnect between Zoom sharing and the PPT presentation itself. Anyone have any ideas?
I recorded a zoom meeting to the cloud without having the zoom pro. When the meeting was over I purchased the zoom pro but I still don’t see the recoding on my cloud. Is there anyway to access that recording.
hello, we are having issues, with our Zoom meetings at the Kingdom Hall, the person at the podium, can not clearly see who is raising their hand on zoom, is there a dédicated forum, for this questions? How to get in touch with developers or people who can implement this feature in the Zoom meeting program? Tanks in advance
On June 13, 2024, Zoom literally stopped working on my desktop (PC). I finally uninstalled it. Then reinstalled and signed in. I had to reset all my settings. My gut says it has to do with Zoom App. I only use ZOOM in a browser and never on the phone. TOUCH UP MY APPEARANCE which has numerous features I like .... it is gone! The zoom AI cannot understand ...and I am using exact ZOOM language. Any suggestions on what happened or where it might be? I hate to uninstall again...and reinstall... who knows if I will get anything back!
When recording (or streaming to YouTube) webinars, the branding name tags are HUGE and when multiple people are on screen do not scale properly, and obscure the view of those on camera. This used to not be an issue. The change happened sometime between - Jan 10, 2025 (last good looking recording with scaled name tags) and Jan 24, 2025 (first bad name tag scaling). Please advise.
I've recently bought a Samsung tablet for my zoom work meetings as my laptop is on its last legs. However, I can't find the touch up my appearance on it. I've followed all the instructions online but the option isn't there. Can anybody please help?
We are setting up an email channel flow for Zoom Contact Center. I would like to auto-populate the assigned agents name in the outbound email signature, rather than have each agent have their own signature or just one generic outbound signature. I have a signature template saved into the Asset Library, but when I use the insert variable option in the template design, I cannot find the appropriate variable to use to pull in the current agents name on the engagement into that outbound signature. I also tried the dynamic variable but to no avail. Anyone else try to dynamically populate the agents full name on an outbound signature template? Not sure what I am missing and as of now support doesn't seem to have an answer. Thanks!
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a bug on my Ubuntu 24.04 system. While remotely accessing another screen, the Select All, Copy, and Paste shortcuts aren’t working properly. Most of the time, I’m trying to copy something from the remote screen and paste it there, not between my local PC and the remote session.
I am using Zoom for teaching students in different states. I have multiple computers with Zoom and some have the Annotation screen. Some do not. Is there a way to "upload " the annotation screen to a computer from Zoom? The whiteboard isn't always a useful tool for my students with low vision.
I offered a free, public business webinar with an Eventbrite registration. I knew all attendees personally/professionally, except one, when the meeting started. I admitted everyone who was waiting into the meeting. I had asked that person to turn on their video and change their name. They left. After they left, about ten minutes into the meeting, someone (a known participant) shared their screen (I allow screen sharing and will be changing this setting). It showed a pr0n site with a live video. After realizing that the participant didn't have control of the screen sharing on their end, I took over the sharing and shared a view of my desktop. Someone started scribbling/annotating on the screenshare and wrote an obscenity. Everyone left and rejoined the meeting, and the same thing happened again, but under a different, known participant. This makes me think that some code is embedded in my Zoom meeting room that hijacks participants' screen sharing. I have a Zoom Marketplace Pro account.
I made a video with a guest. I down loaded it from zoom. It is not showing us in gallary view even though I set it that way when I recorded. How do I fix it?Thank you.
I need to send out a recording, but it recorded in the local recording instead of the cloud. How do you convert a local recording to a cloud recording?
I’m using a ThinkPad L13 Gen 5 (Type 21LB, 21LC)Lenovo Product Page When I turn on the camera (Video ON) in the Zoom app, the application freezes for about 2 minutes before the video starts working. Here are the details of my environment: Zoom version: 6.6.15968Camera firmware version: 10.0.22000.20375Intel Graphics driver version: 32.0.101.7026Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution for this problem?
Is there a way to add a button on Poly e220 or e300 phones for receptionists to toggle call forwarding to a cell phone when they need to step away or at the end of their shift? Times vary so static call handling through breaks and business hours doesn't meet the requirement.
I installed and connected the Zoom for Outlook add-in on my Mac. The add-in, Zoom desktop software, and my MacOS are all updated. When I add a calendar event in the desktop Outlook app, Zoom appears in the toolbar, but when I click Zoom > "Add a Zoom meeting", I get the "Adding Zoom Meeting..." pop-up, a circle spins for a minute, and then an error: We're sorry, we couldn't access Zoom. Make sure you have a network connection. If the problem continues, please try again later." Notably, if I switch over to the Zoom app calendar, I can see an event created there with a Zoom link (it just does not successfully transmit that data back to the Outlook Calendar event). The Zoom add in does work if using Outlook on the web. My internet connection is otherwise fine. Any ideas? I have tried un-installing and reinstalling both the Zoom desktop app and the Zoom for Outlook add-in several times with no results. Running MacOS Tahoe.
Hi everyone! 👋I’m looking for some fresh inspiration on how to make webinars feel more dynamic and less like a one-way presentation. I’ve been hosting sessions regularly, and while the content is strong, I feel there’s still room to make the experience more engaging, memorable, and enjoyable for attendees.I’m especially curious about the format and flow of webinars that have worked well for you. Have you tried more conversational styles, panels, live Q&A throughout instead of at the end, or more visual storytelling instead of slide-heavy presentations? I’m also interested in whether you’ve experimented with things like open discussion moments, quick interaction segments, or inviting attendees to influence the direction of the session in real time. What I’d really love to hear are real experiences: something you tried that made the webinar noticeably more lively, or even things that didn’t work and what you learned from them. If you’ve found certain approaches that keep peopl
Is anyone else running into issues after installing Zoom Workplace? We've installed it on a couple of workstations but after they login to Zoom and try to run a session, the session window pops up then goes away never starting the zoom meeting. We're then having to uninstall Zoom Workplace and installing an previous version to run our Zoom Meetings. Reported this to Tech Support and waiting on a solution, any information is greatly appreciated.
I have my google calendar synced with zoom but for some reason every time I get the cloud recording it says google calendar meeting (not synced). I have all the settings turned on and can see that everything is synced I dont understand why it won't pull the naming convention when it sends me the recording?
There is a kind of "hint" message that displays along the upper corner of the application window, which is impeding upon my ability to work. the message displayed, "Drag to desktop 2 to share" is obstructing my view. I have a 4-monitor screen set-up, and (while hosting) I'm sharing all windows from a particular application. The application I've chose to share has multiple windows across all four monitor screens. I understand to "Share all windows from an application" means I'm required to determine which one of my four monitors will be used to share any windows associated with this app. I've chose to use "Desktop 2." Although Zoom doesn't allow me to share multiple monitor screens at once (which I would certainly prefer over sharing multiple app windows in a single screen, since squeezing my 4-monitor workflow into a single monitor is not conducive for displaying my productivity "live" so to speak), I do still appreciate that Zoom allows me
Hi! We're hoping for some advice/best practices- anything would be great. Situation:1. We have a webinar scheduled for "date a" with 100+ registrants. 2. We need to reschedule this webinar to "date b". 3. All registrants have already received an email confirmation with the information for "date a" and they need to be updated with an email for "date b". What is the best way to handle this? If we change the webinar date, will registrants be notified and/or can we control the email that they receive? Would love recommendations, we can't seem to find any info on this. Thanks!
Hi! Looking for some guidance or best practices on rescheduling a recurring webinar when attendees have already added it to their calendars.Situation:We created a recurring Zoom webinar (even though the sessions weren’t happening at regular intervals) so registrants could sign up once for both sessions. The first webinar has already taken place. The second webinar was originally scheduled for 13 November. We needed to move the second session to 20 November, so we edited just that occurrence in Zoom, we did not create a new webinar.Registrants already received the automatic Zoom confirmation email for 13 November, including the auto-generated calendar invite link. After changing the date, the Zoom calendar entry on attendees’ calendars did not update, they still have the original 13 November date. When we resend the confirmation email, attendees do not get a calendar request they can “Accept” to update the date, they only get the ICS link again, which doesn’t overwrite the existing cal
Help! During our AA meetings we allow emojis in the reactions, and it's mildly distracting but fine. Now they float up the screen, and the only answer is to turn off reactions. This would piss people off. It appears that you can limit reactions in webinars. I suspect Zoom did this on purpose to force people to upgrade. But our meering ID numbers is years old, and I don't know if making it a webinar would look different. My concern is unmuting. Once the meeting is going, we allow people to unmute themselves. Is that true if we upgrade to webinar? Can we retain our meeting ID number? Help PLEASE!
