A user asked how Expo actually works in practice — could it support real vendor booths where attendees browse, click in, and end up in an actual conversation? Mike walked through a live example: build out exhibitors on a floor attendees can navigate, each with its own booth (PDFs, video content, downloadable material), and a "space" that launches a real Zoom meeting the moment someone wants to talk — breakout rooms included if the exhibitor wants to split off into a one-on-one. He's seen it work well for things like benefit fairs, where people walk the floor and duck into whichever vendor they need.[Watch the clip →]A couple of the other things we talked about this session:Simulive vs. Production Studio — when to use each How to keep your webinars from feeling boring Certification updates for recurring and legacy events[Read the full recap here →] [Register and join us next time →]
If you missed Wednesday's bonus AMA, you missed a good one. No agenda, no slides — just an hour of real questions from real Zoom Events and Webinars Plus users, answered live. Here's what came out of it. HighlightsSimulive vs. Production Studio, settled once and for all. This comes up constantly, so we made Mike answer it properly: if your event repeats often and the content doesn't change much, Simulive is your friend — set it, forget it, let it run. If you want more flexibility (intro/outro/countdown videos, scene switching, playing a clip at exactly the right moment), Production Studio gives you that control. Mike's team runs their weekly YouTube shows entirely on Production Studio scenes for this reason. Want to watch Mike give the quick run down? here you go Certifications just got a lot more flexible. They now work across single, recurring, multi-session, and older/legacy events — previously you'd have had to duplicate a recurring session to add them. You can also manually push o

If your IT team wants to understand the Zoom Marketplace connector for Sharepoint and Zoom Virtual Agent, below you will find common questions and best practices. Link the to connector is here. 1. How Authentication and Permissions WorkWhen you connect SharePoint as a knowledge base source in Zoom Virtual Agent, the integration uses OAuth authentication. This means: The SharePoint account used during authentication authorizes the connection between Zoom and Microsoft 365. The Virtual Agent does not gain elevated or independent permissions — it can only access content that the authenticated account has permission to view. In other words, the Virtual Agent “inherits” the same access rights as the SharePoint account used to establish the connection. This design ensures that SharePoint’s native access controls remain fully enforced. If a document or site is restricted for that account, the Virtual Agent will not be able to retrieve or surface it. 2. Restricting Access to Specific Sites
👋 Welcome to the Zoom Slides Community Creating presentations is one of the most common parts of work. Yet for many people, it's still more time-consuming than it should be. Ideas are scattered across meetings, documents, chats, emails, and countless browser tabs. Turning those ideas into a clear and compelling presentation often takes hours of gathering, organizing, designing, and refining. We're building Zoom Slides to make that process simpler. A place where ideas can move naturally from thinking → creating → presenting → getting buy-in. 🚀 New to Zoom Slides? Help please: I have an avatar that will display if I start the meeting and am the host. It will show up when I turn the video off and disappear if I turn the video screen on. This is what I want to happen. That same avatar will not display if I join a zoom meeting where I am merely a member of the class. I do not act as host. If I turn the video off, only the traditional black square appears. I want a zoom black square containing a picture of the avatar whenever I turn off the video. Other people attending this zoom meeting have avatars. Therefore, I doubt that the host's settings prevent an avatar from being used. I have an Apple operating system 12.6.3 + zoom operating system 5.13.7 Can anyone educate my ignorance?
I'm trying to understand the correct size for my Zoom profile photo. It keeps appearing blurry even though I have it set at a 1:1 radio and the image was high resolution. Any advice on how to create a profile photo that isn't blurry? When I update it on the Zoom web site under my Profile it shows as a correct resolution, but within any meeting it's very blurry and looks unprofessional.
I need to add two additional dates/times to a Zoom meeting with a registration link. Fortunately, as of today there is only one registration for the August meeting, but I am worried that if I add dates/times, I will lose that registration. I believe I can download that registrant and then re-register them, but I want to make sure the registration link doesn’t change. Does anyone know how I can do this?
In the meeting I want to get the transcripts without recording the meeting. I tried by turning on the caption but at no point did I get the choice/button for transcript. Please help. Thanks!
On this page https://zoom.us/user/meeting/transcript#/transcripts there's only the information: No transcriptsYou are not allowing meeting hosts to retain and access meeting transcripts. Where do I allow the host to retain and access transcripts?
We have a member of a CQ that sometimes receives a transcription of a CQ voicemail and not the voicemail itself. Other times she receive the voicemail but not the transcription. The other members of the CQ don’t have this problem. Does anyone know why this would be happening?Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi,I am looking for a way to remove the persistent "Sign In" card/button in the meeting window (windows desktop app)We sign in to start the meeting in the browser, we are host of the meeting, but the desktop app keeps displaying ‘sign in’ on the top right. This ‘feature’ was added - and it sucks. We have concurrent meeting plus, so we can’t have zoom desktop signed into as many accounts as meetings we run simultaneously.
Does any one know how I can find the email address that is related to the Zoom free personal account ?
The zoom BOT ran through the order which I could not follow. Terms she used did not appear on my website for sure.Is there a quick, easy way to get enabled???I am not a bz, just me!Help please
If you have deployed, or are thinking about deploying Zoom Virtual Agent then it is well worth enabling Quality Management for ZVA if you have a contact centre license. This brings your ZVA agents into scope for quality management & also includes auto scoring! Check out this short demo & think about the possibilities for evolving your virtual agent deployments. We are already using Auto QM ourselves to track how our virtual agents are performing & where customers are interacting with them in ways we weren’t anticipating.
Beginning this week (7/20/26), I am no longer able to edit and save lobby descriptions in Zoom Events. The “save” button is grayed out.
I’m using Zoom Version: 7.1.5 (4332) on xubuntu 22.04. Starting from 7.0.x I noticed issue with entering Cyrillic ‘с’ and find the workaroung by changing enableCefOsrMode to false (enableCefOsrMode=false) in .config/zoomus.conf but after that change - the mouse scrolling doesn’t work anymore. Current version have same issue too.Is any way to have both items working as expected?
The Zoom desktop app keeps crashing or freezing. I'm using Fedora Linux. Please just provide a working app. The app is now so overloaded with unnecessary bloat that nothing surprises me anymore. On top of that, there are questionable features that intercept keystrokes in the chat window - what's that all about?
I just logged into try and schedule some meetings and the whole interface has been changed. I go to click on meetings and it gives me the option to "host" or "join" a meeting.... Sigh..... Where the heck did they move the dashboard when you used to log into your account and it launched right then and there. Now it's filled with all sorts of garbage promoting more services to buy that don't interest me and clutter up my screen. And, where do you request support to chat with a support agent? I'm not interested in their stupid AI bots. I don't understand why they have to make things harder.
Problem StatementWe're experiencing media desynchronization when conducting Zoom meetings through a Windows 365 Cloud PC environment accessed from Mac endpoints. The primary symptom is audio-video timing misalignment during video conferences, suggesting potential issues with media processing pipeline optimization.Technical ConfigurationClient Hardware: Mac Mini (macOS Sonoma 14.5/14.6 & 15)Virtual Environment: Windows 365 Cloud PC with Zoom VDI clientZoom Architecture:Zoom VDI Client (Windows 365 cloud PC)Zoom VDI Plugin for Mac (local endpoint)Network Infrastructure: Consistent high-bandwidth connection verifiedSoftware Versions: Latest software releases of both VDI componentsSymptom AnalysisPrimary Issue: Persistent audio-video desynchronization with noticeable camera feed latencySecondary Effects: Intermittent echo artifacts requiring session restartConfiguration Impact: Mac-side Zoom adjustments yield no improvementPlugin Effectiveness: No observable performance differential wi
Hello, I am writing to request full native Wayland support and optimization for the Zoom Linux client. Currently, many users (including myself) experience issues with screen sharing, window management, and overall performance when using Wayland compositors (GNOME/Mutter, KDE/Kwin).Relying on XWayland is no longer a viable long-term solution as the Linux ecosystem is rapidly moving to Wayland by default. We need: Native PipeWire/Portal integration for screen sharing. Better resource management (CPU/RAM optimization) under Wayland. Fixes for screen flickering and window focus issues. This is critical for users on modern distributions like Ubuntu 24.04/26.04 and Fedora.
All - I did a search before posting this item. It doesn’t seem to have been raised before, so here is an option that I would like to have available. Rather than just muting participants, which sounds really abrupt, I would like the abilty to fade out their audio to silence. It seems much less jarring to me.AI said that I could use Voicemeter or a hardware deck to do so, but it would be great, I think, if that option just existed within Zoom natively. That’s it. Thank you for reading this.
The photo on my profile is different than the one that displays during a call.
