I teach live online classes with a large number of participants. For years my workflow was simple: set chat to "Host and co-hosts", ask a question, and all the students' answers would come into ONE chat window where I could read them at a glance. Students could not see each other's answers, so nobody could copy. After the new meeting chat UI and the new Zoom Web Experience rolled out on my account, every single participant's message now opens as its own separate one-to-one thread. With 50 or 100 students, I would have to click each person's name individually to read their answers. It is simply not usable in a live class. What I have already checked, as the account admin:- "Meeting chat - Private group messages" (the setting that used to fix this) has been REMOVED. It is not in my personal settings and not in Admin Center > Account Settings > Meeting > In Meeting (Basic).- "Meeting chat - Direct messages" is already turned off on my account. The separate threads still happen.- T

The video on my Lenovo FHD webcam will show only a black screen when I attempt to use it with Zoom. The camera is otherwise functional, and it will do audio on Zoom. I am using a MacBook Air running Mac OS 15.5.

Really would love to have a zoom call for a bunch of people to talk about different cultures and different areas and states and countries

Windows 11, FireFox 157, Zoom Workplace 7.2When on a Zoom call, I cannot hear any audio.But....If I go to a local news channel website, and hit the Sound icon in the system tray, I get the typical connection parms, AND a window above that. Like the uploaded image. If I click on the "play" in that window, I can here the news channel. When I go back to Zoom, I can now hear the audio. Why isn't the audio turned on when Zoom opens? Is that a Zoom issue? A FireFox issue? ThanksSteve

I am getting the "Cannot start video  Failed to start the video camera. Please select another video camera in Settings" error message. When I go into Zoom's "Video Settings" my camera works but when I click on "Start Video" I get the error message.  I have an HP 23-q113w all-in-one with a built-in camera that works fine with my other apps. I have reinstalled Zoom and turned on and off all the settings in "Video Settings."  Any other suggestions?

Running Zoom version Version: 7.0.0 (77593) on MacOS Sonoma. I cannot see things in dark mode but Zoom now defaults to dark mode and setting the mode to light using Settings/General and clicking on the light option does not work.I have verified that I have light setting in both the main zoom desktop and in individual meeting settings and it persists in displaying as Dark mode! How do I get it back to readable/viewable in the comfortable light mode?

Hi there. I am trying to login in to our business account using the regular email address that we always use for admin privileges. However, when I type in the email address and click 'NEXT', a message shows up in red letters saying, "Having trouble signing in with this email. Please sign in with a different account or create a free account." I am using the account we have always used and nothing has changed on our end. And since I can't login with that email/account I can't access SUPPORT because free accounts (like the one I'm using right now to post this) doesn't allow me to contact support. WOW. Here is a screenshot of what I'm seeing: VIEW IMAGE

IssueThe end user cannot utilize their webcam on a few Windows 10 systems with Zoom v6 installed. The issue is occurring on 2+ systems in our environment. When they try to start a meeting, they receive the following error:Cannot start videoFailed to start the video camera. Please select another video camera in Settings. Troubleshooting performedCamera works fine in Windows, Google Hangouts, Slack, etc.Downgrading to Zoom v5 works fineQuestionsDoes Zoom have a solution to reset privacy settings and/or an updated version of v6 that will work? This issue appears to be true for all v6 versions we've tested.Any other suggestions would be appreciated, aside from upgrading to Windows 11, as we shouldn't use a hammer to fix this issue.

I recorded my meeting to my laptop and it converted.  However. during the playback the video does not play in conjunction with the audio.  For example:I was showing a basketball clip and was narrating the action but the audio did not match what was shown on the screen during the meeting. The audio stated, and here we see the ball is tipped but the video is motionless. Thanks for any suggestions.

I’ve just gotten started with the Zoom and after about four personal calls to friends, the account was suspended and no reason given. Anyone else know why? These were casual conversations with friends.

Been chatting with the BOT today and they took me thru all the steps to confirm the Webinar account and my right to schedule but ran out of suggestions. Seems there was a change to icons that is not working.

Hi, Paypal claims I have a zoom account connected with them, and that this has to be disconnected before I can cancel my Paypal account. How can I disconnect Paypal from ZOOM? Thanks

For the last month or two, a pink banner appears across the top of Zoom warning that my account is overdue. Yet, when I check my payments in Zoom, I see now payments are due. The precise message says:You have one or more invoices overdue. Failure to pay the full invoice balance may result in temporary suspension or cancellation of your subscription. Click here to pay or click here for support.

Merci

Some team members would like to receive email notifications when an SMS comes in.Is this possible? If yes - how can we set that up? If no - what alternative is there?

We are trying to update the incoming email message with ServiceNow ticket number. When the email session is completed for the day and if the user reach back later, we parse the incoming email to serach for the INC1234567*****, and open the existing incident instead of creating a new incident. Is there a way to update the incoming message> I tried using this script, but it is not working.async function main() {  const body = var_get()["global_system.Engagement.body"] + "<br><font size='1'>" + var_get()["global_custom.servicenow.incidentID"] + "*****</font>"  global_var_set("global_system.Engagement.body", body);}

The window that informs users about the note taking option that opens up on the top right at the beginning of a meeting obscures the screen settings. So one has to wait for that to disappear before one can change the screen settings. I find it annoying, especially if internet speed is slow.  I have tried to navigate the “give feedback” filepath but have been unable to give feedback.  Perhaps someone esle who reads this and has the same issue can send in feedback.  Thanks.

When I try to record my two hour class, ZOOM will not record it to the cloud. All my settings are correct and confirm this is what should happen. If I do a short one minute test video, everything happens as it should.  There is no storage bar on my recordings page, and I have no recordings in the trash, so storage should be fine.  How can I fix this. My IT admin shrugs its shoulders and sent me here.

HI, I’m trying to download a csv of all zoom session links in a zoom event. I have published the event and I can go to each event by following the group link and find individual links by starting the zoom rooms, but there must be an easier way to do this? Any help would be most welcome.I’m trying to create an export so I can match those zoom links with a conference platform I have elsewhere.Alos, what difference does it make if it is one hub or another? Thanks, Amanda

During our webinars we often have ~10 Panelist’s and 500+ attendees. We regularly see 100+ questions come in through the typed-in Q & A.How are other Zoom Webinars users going about “Assigning” or “Claiming” questions to specific Panelists so that each Panelist can see that a question is being worked on, and multiple Panelists do not try and answer the same question?

Hi Zoom Support / Community,I need assistance setting up a co-host moderation workflow during meetings where participant chat is restricted.Current Account & Meeting Configuration:Account Type: Zoom Workplace Business License (300 Participants) Desktop Client: Updated to the latest version on all host and co-host devices Focus Mode: Enabled during the meeting Meeting Chat Permissions: Set to "Host and co-hosts" by admin policy Direct Messaging (Participant-to-Participant): Locked OFF by admin policy Q&A in Meetings: EnabledThe Problem with Meeting Chat (No Shared Inbox): No Shared Inbox in Chat: In Meeting Chat, there is no shared message box for the moderation team.
