Cameras go on the fritz when using zoom desktop client (but not on browser version)

All cameras go on the fritz (sporadically, but about every few minutes or so) when using desktop client (only when using desktop client). This DOES NOT happen when I use other meeting platforms like MS Teams OR when I use the browser version of zoom....
