Cameras go on the fritz when using zoom desktop client (but not on browser version)

All cameras go on the fritz (sporadically, but about every few minutes or so) when using desktop client (only when using desktop client).  This DOES NOT happen when I use other meeting platforms like MS Teams OR when I use the browser version of zoom.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desk top version of zoom, but it has not helped.  This happens with both my built-in surface-pro camera as well as my logitech web cam...  When I stop video and then restart video the issue goes away momentarily, but then comes back.  Please help.

Hello,

Update Zoom. It's a known issue.

In settings >video> advanced uncheck "Optimize quality of the video | send with de-noise"

Regards

Howdy all:   Found the solution here:    https://community.zoom.com/t5/Meetings/Cameras-go-on-the-fritz-when-using-zoom-desktop-client-but-no...    As you guessed, it's an update issue.  If you re-update to this latest  (version 5.13.5 (12053) ), they've fixed it.   See the release notes, specifically the bug fixes, here:  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201361953-New-Updates-for-Windows

Good luck!
