Whiteboard Extracting Data

Can you extract data / comments made on a whiteboard into a table or format for review?

For example, collate peoples comments / feedback into either word or excel file?

I believe Zoom doesn't have that feature yet.

But you can definitely submit feedback or suggestion through this link: zoom.us/feed

I wish there were a way to show the whiteboard on one side and the Zoom active meeting screen on another, similar to the way split screen can be done when two different people are guests in a zoom meeting.  Is there a way or are you planning for this?  Would be excellent for educators and trainers.

Agreed both of these above suggestions would be great. Specifically in my case, it would be most useful to be able to extract the data submitted on e.g. Sticky Notes into some collated or spreadsheet format. Thank you for considering.

@TeacherEducator Yes! you can select whiteboard content and export it to a CSV 🙂  Would you mind giving that a try and letting me know what you think?

Can you please explain how to do that? The data I have received is from the Zoom whiteboard and is in pdf format.

Hello,

  • While in the Zoom WB click the three dots on the toolbar
  • Click Export
  • Select CSV as the export format
