I’m using an iPad, and I don’t see the Record button anywhere- same question as the other thread- of course I only have a Basic Account- what is this additional Desktop  software add-in plug-in thing?  What is that and were is that available?

Unfortunately, the mobile Zoom app can only record to the cloud, which is available only for Pro accounts or higher. You can record with a Basic account, but you must do so on the desktop client for Windows, Mac, or Linux.

This is an intentional defect.  Why would your company do this?

Hi @Edski

With an iPad only Cloud recordings can be made. But to make cloud recordings you will need a Paid account.

An iPad cannot record locally in Zoom. For that, you will need to use a desktop client.

You can download the desktop client at https://zoom.us/download
