Chat box not saving info when we go to breakout rooms

I'm experiencing a very annoying problem. I'm a teacher and in the main room of the class we have information that we put inside the chat box as we go along with the class. The problem is when me and the students go to the breakout rooms, all the previous information from the chat box from the main room is lost. This was never a problem before today, January 17th, 2023. Please help. No information from the chat box is saved when we go to the BORs (breakout rooms), basically.

Please submit a support ticket. Zoom prioritizes bug fixes based on many criteria including volume of reports about an issue.

HI @RaulTeacherB , so sorry for how this has affected your meetings! 

 

Our Engineering team has been alerted of this and there is an open feature request to bring this functionality back. In the meantime, the temporary solution is to have turn OFF the "New meeting chat experience" on your settings via web portal until we can support Breakout Room chat history again. Rest assured that our engineering team is working diligently as we totally understand the importance of this feature.
