Running a Microsoft Teams Meeting in a Zoom Room

Hello -

We have a Zoom room w/ a Logitech Console connected to a camera w/ two big screens and would like to run Microsoft Teams meetings using the same system.

We did everything in the following articles -  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360057044571- Enabling-or-disabling-Microsoft-Teams-Direct-Guest-Join  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/203847179,

But we are stuck trying to understand next steps.   I know we are supposed to invite the Zoom Room which is a licensed Microsoft 365 user to the Zoom Room and the link should show up on the Logitech console but that is not the case.

Does anyone have a clear and easy step-by-step guide for connecting to a Microsoft Teams meeting in a Zoom room?

Thanks!

Then next step is to invite the Zoom Room to the Teams Meeting.  Make sure that the Zoom Room calendar is not deleting the body of the calendar invite or an email URL redirector, such as Proofpoint, is changing the join link.  Once the meeting has been sent, the Zoom Room will look in the invite for the Teams join information and create a join button on the controller.

Hi KenBruns,
When you say 'invite the Zoom Room to the Teams Meeting', are we just adding the zoom room calendar resource email address as a guest? We're having issue getting the Teams invite to show up on our zoom room.
We are using iPads and a google workspace environment.

Thanks!

Make sure the body of the invite isn't getting deleted.

I don't believe we have any URL filtering turned on.
When we create a zoom meeting and add the resource calendar as a guest, the meeting comes up on the calendar and the iPad.

There are setting on the room resource that can delete it.  Many times that is on by default (for privacy).

We dont have any settings turned on that would delete anything. We have our resource set to "Auto-accept invitations that do not conflict"
