Keyboard inputnot working to dial a number on Mac OS

I have been able to use the keyboard to enter phone numbers for quite some time.  All of a sudden the keyboard input is not recognized and I can only input phone numbers using a mouse.  Is there a fix?

Hi,

 

My Mac is on the latest version of Zoom (5.11.0) for MacOS. It works for me using the Mac's keyboard, although I do have to click once in the field titled "Enter a name or number...".  Did it seem to happen after the latest update or?
