zoom video resolution change?

The resolution on the mp4 video that Zoom gives me has changed to 3840x2160, from 1280 x 720.  This makes the video file much, much larger.  I enjoy the visual quality of the higher-res recording, but I was surprised by how much larger the file is.  Can I control the resolution and if so, how do I do this?  I'd prefer to store /archive the video files of my zoom meetings in smaller size files!

Hello,

Were you screen sharing? Zoom will send / record the native resolution of the Screenshare. If you change your screen resolution to 1080p before the meeting then your maximum resolution would be limited to that size.

in other circumstances Zoom’s maximum resolution is 1080p.
