why I can't hear the shard audio

my coworker was sharing his screen and his pc audio .. all the participants could hear the shared audio except for me .. 

it tells me that the there's an exception and I see a yellow shield icon with an exclamation point (!) .

I am having this same problem.  What I hear when the Host shares a video with words or music is all garbled.  No popups indicate trouble with my system, but it is frustrating.  It does not appear that others are having the same problem.  I wonder what setting changes I need to make?
