I trimmed a cloud recording today. But I made mistake and then I cannot revert back to the original recording. The remark said I can recover within 30 days, but I cannot find any clue to recover it.

i'm finding the new trim functionality to be unusable. i used to be able to choose what time signature to trim from. i can't seem to do that. this is clunky. i can't get it to work

The recent update to the trim feature is awful and unuseful. Hope they fix it soon and go back to how it was, which was useful, because it's backing up my productivity of getting recordings out to people.

I agree! I've had the exact same problem. Somehow, I’ve reduced a 1hr 50-minute recording to 3 minutes. And even these 3 minutes aren’t playing properly – it plays for half a second and then freezes.
I’m wondering if there is a way to access the original recording somehow. Unfortunately, I didn’t download it so all I can work with is what’s saved to the cloud. Like others have experienced, the recovery option doesn't seem to appear for me. Perhaps a bug?
I've sent a service request to ask for help so my fingers are crossed that I'll be able to get assistance with recovering the original file!

the problem seems to be related to a recent update. If the trimmed video becomes too short, the message that display the recover option cannot be shown. It is a bug.

I think I figured it out!
1. Click the scissor to "trim"
2. Click in the gray box to "add a new section"
3. Then, use your mouse to expand that section. Like, stretch it out left or right.
4. The blue part will be the viewable part of your video.
But then, you do have to WAIT for the trimming to be done to send the video out to your peeps.
Sheesh!

I ended up trimming the wrong part of the video too. And also don't know how to recover

Thank you! That worked for me!

Actually I was able to restore my trimmed video. After the trimming is complete (for my 47 minute video it took over an hour) when I clicked on the recording there was a message underneath that said "This video has been trimmed. You can restore the previous version for until xx/xx/xx" And if you click on the work RESTORE it restores the original.

Hi Rupert,
Your link to the guide on how to trim is not fro the updated version, its for the previous easy to use good version. Please get someone to put this version back up as what has been done to the trim function, which I use on all recordings, is a travesty!
Thanks
