On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I'm sharing the recording to my students. Which is the right/best setting to choose to prevent the link from being shared with other people. Thank you.

Hi @PAOLALG23

There are a couple of ways you can protect your recordings from being shared. First, I would restrict viewing of recording to authenticated users.  This makes it so anyone viewing the recording is required to sign into their Zoom account to view it. To enable this feature, navigate to your Recording Settings and toggle on Require Users to authenticate before viewing cloud recordings.

Additionally, I would recommend making your recordings password protected. From the same recording settings page as above, toggle on Require password to access shared cloud recordings

People can share their passcode,  and they can forward the recording to others by clicking on the square with an arrow on their computer to easily share.  To confirm, we would have to set up users to our zoom account for access to prevent recordings from being shared?
