On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

recording error

I can't record a zoom meeting. I try to click the "record" button but it always opens a "settings" window and I can never record!!! Please help me

Hi, @Pamelaaaaaaaaaa!

 

 Without more information, it’ll be difficult to provide much help. The only thing I can think of is that something in the Recording Settings panel needs some attention. I’m guessing that the location of the folder where recordings will be stored probably needs to be reset – especially if the default location is unavailable for some reason.

Sign into the Zoom web portal and click Settings. Navigate to the Recording tab and verify Automatic recording is enabled. Note: If the toggle is grayed out, it has been locked at either the Group or Account level, and you will need to contact your Zoom administrator
