iPadOS 16: Start a Meeting from within Safari did not Switch to Zoom App

After the iPadOS update to 16.1 the switch from the Zoom-Web Portal in Safari to the Zoom App does not work anymore.

The „allow to Switch to the Zoom App“ request did not open and pressing the button below did not work either.

Try to Login via the Zoom App via sso authentication also did not work anymore.

Up to iPadOS 15 all worked as advertised.

Any suggestions and hints are welcome.

I have the exact same problem... The "Launch Zoom" button doesn't work after SSO Login attempt because for some reason it can't find the installed app.

I have had this issue on iPadOS 16 since the beta came out and it is still there with the release version of OS 16.

Is there a timeline for a fix?

I have the same problem too! The “Allow” dialogue never pops up, and the “Launch Zoom” button does nothing. Cannot sign in with SSO on iPad Pro! This used to work, but something new either from Zoom or iPadOS 16 seems to have broken it.

I Was able to finally get this working by setting Chrome as my default browser in order to sign in, then I switched my default browser back to Safari. 

it seems to be an issue with Zoom on iPad and non chrome browsers.
