automatic recording

Why did my meeting not produce a recording? The meeting recording option was set to  automatic recording. I signed in and was allowed by host. After approx.  3 minutes, host transferred host duties to me, he remained in the meeting until the end, and signed out of the Zoom account. There's no recording of the meeting in cloud storage and none rendered locally when I left the meeting. The meeting would have produced a file greater than 1GB, which is the limit, but no notification was received either. I need this board meeting video, how would I be able to retrieve it?

I tried to record a zoom meeting.  I put it on pause before closing the meeting.  Did it get saved?  Deleted?
Is it in limbo someplace?

 

Ending a meeting will also end the recording, even if it was paused. 

If it was a local recording, it would be saved on the device directly, whereas a cloud recording would be on the web in your Zoom account under Recordings.
