In most Zoom meetings (and Teams meetings), my headphones and microphone work perfectly. In one weekly Zoom meeting, Zoom keeps lowering my microphone volume so no one can hear me. I have a short-term work around to switch to internal and back to external microphone on my Win10 machine, and my mic works for a little bit until maybe someone else talks, and then my volume goes down again.
I've tried adjusting microphone volume, turning on/off zoom echo cancelling and automatic volume settings, but nothing works. I've seen several other people post similar problems. I think there is a problem with the Zoom software for echo cancelling that when there is a certain combination of people using particular versions of Zoom or, more likely, particular types of headsets (most others have bluetooth, but I have analog), that it chooses one person to lower their volume to try to reduce echo (even though we don't hear any echo).
Please fix this because it is very annoying.
