Zoom developer website bug and privacy concerns. App hasn't been reviewed by Zoom?

Hi,

 

I am posting this here as I can't login to the dev forum website.

 

Has there been a change to the dev forum website https://devforum.zoom.us/ requiring a "helper" app to login?

 

After going to the website and clicking login I see the message "You are about to add Zoom Developer Forum Log-in Helper BETA".

 

Below this it reads:

 

This app and its use of your data have not been reviewed or evaluated by Zoom. Use the app only for testing or validation purposes; only allow it if you wish the app to have access to the data below.

 

This looks like a bug?

I don't think I can create a ticket as I only have a basic (non-paid) account?

 

I have sent a message to the developer forum mods though.

I think so but am not 100% sure. I think I would have noticed it though.

 

I can still probably login ok. I just don't remember this popup.

 

I'd prefer not to enter any login information into an app which hasn't been reviewed by Zoom.

 

I was able to send a PM to mods as I happened to have an existing tab open in which I am still logged in.

 I was informed by the manager of the developer team that the community dev forum is open to all licensing types including basic. Would you mind DMing me your email address that you use for Zoom and I can impersonate your login and attempt to join the devforum page and see if I can figure out if this is happening only to you (meaning local client) or to your account (meaning I would be able to replicate the behavior). You can DM me by clicking on my profile name and then clicking on send a message to me directly, and we can work on this from there.

I'm not sure why you are saying this? I can log into the dev forum ok but I am concerned about my privacy. Why am I forced to login to a login helper that hasn't been approved by the company that is running the website?

Are you saying that when you login to the dev forum you don't see this login helper message?
