This has been happening ever since I upgrade to Windows 11. I am using Chrome browser to launch Zoom. I have tried
1. Uninstalling and reinstalling zoom
2. Updating the video drivers
3. A brand new video camera
Nothing at all works. I have all the latest drivers for the samsung monitor. It is incredibly frustrating as my company has a "cameras on all the time" policy, and I always need to share my screen, and I can do neither with Zoom. I have none of these problems with Google Meet or Teams.

Open the Zoom app Settings and head to the Video tab. Now, in the right pane, click on Advanced and expand the dropdown of the Video Rendering Method. Now relaunch the Zoom app and check if it is working fine. If not, restart your system and upon restart, check if the Zoom app is clear of the screen sharing issue.

@Jameswalter , dropdown the Video Rendering Method... to what specifically? It defaults to Auto, but there are four other choices. Which one do you recommend?

It looks like the original response was taken verbatim from this blog, https://softwarekeep.com/help-center/fix-zoom-quit-unexpectedly-screen-share , which has the same incomplete response. A separate blog, https://appuals.com/zoom-quit-unexpectedly-screen-share/ has the suggestion to set the video rendering to Direct3D9

This step resolved the issue with Video and screen sharing at the same time.

So far, so good. I will only know if it really works over time. Thank you for the 'update'.
