I am on a zoom call for work, I have a set background that pops up when I sign on to these calls. All of a sudden, today, my actual face has not been detected in the zoom call. All it shows is my set background and not my face. I have received no error messages, the "hide self view" button is not marked on my video settings, I tried restarting my laptop and it didn't work. I'm not sure what to do.

I use a new laptop to login my zoom account, found that I have to do the setting again, such as adding the virtual background. But my actual face cannot be detected just as Ellie mentioned above. Tried restart and login again but in vain.

I have the same or a similar problem. My set-up is a Win11 laptop with its display as #1, then two external monitors (#2 & 3). The external camera is a Logitech C270. Before July 6 (not sure exactly when), on a Zoom call I would enable the Logitech camera, and my face and virtual background would display on monitor #2. For the last two weeks, when I enable the Logitech camera, the only thing that displays on monitor #2 is the virtual background. I do have a workaround in that I can use the built-in laptop camera to get the background and my face, but the quality isn't as good, plus I need to move the Zoom screen with the gallery to the desktop screen (#1) so that, to others, I'm looking at them instead of staring off toward the laptop camera. (I hope that makes sense.) The desired configuration is to use the external camera and display the Zoom gallery on monitor #2. I have the Version 6.5.3 (7509) version of the Zoom desktop client, just upgraded today. The same problem was occurring with the previous version 6.5.2something.
