Zcfagent.exe process explanation

Hello everyone,

We are currently running Zoom desktop client 5.8.7 on our Terminal Server (Running Windows Server 2016 OS) and since we updated the app to that version, we are seeing loads of zcfagent.exe processes per user opened in Windows task manager. We wanted to know what this process is and what causes this to trigger multiple process instances in the task manager.

This zcfagent.exe process is beefing up a lot of vCPU resources of our terminal server to cause it to be laggy all day long, so I was wondering if someone had an idea what this process does really and if it can be disabled at start up and enabled only manually by the user when he/she needs to launch Zoom desktop client.

Here's some information on that process:

CefAgent.exe is part of Zoom deployment, it is used to encapsulate CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework) to provide embedded browser support for the Zoom client.

This is used to enable Zoom Apps within the Zoom client.
