Works on phone but not computer

I was able to click a hyperlink on a flyer and Zoom worked on my phone but not on my computer. I have no ID because it was an image link.  My error message on the computer says, "Click Open zoom.us on the dialog shown by your browser If you don’t see a dialog, click Launch Meeting below"

Creating and Sharing a Zoom Link
Click on “Meetings” in your Zoom app.
Hit the + symbol to schedule a new meeting.
Give your meeting a name [1] and then set it to be a recurring meeting [2]. ...
Find the meeting link by going to Meetings in your Zoom app [1] and click on the course meeting [2].

I had the same problem yesterday. I received a meeting ID and passcode. On my laptop it said the host was notified and it stayed that way for an hour. I clicked the same on my iPhone and it went right in.
