On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Who pays for Zoom meeting? I'm NOT the host

I need to join a meeting that lasts 3 hours.  I'm NOT the host, just a participant.  MY Zoom plan is the Basic which limits me to a 40 minute meeting.  I don't use Zoom for business and only use about 5 times per year.  Will I get cut off after 40 minutes from a meeting I am a participant and NOT the host?

Hi @RuthyD , and welcome to the community! You will not get cut off after 40 minutes as long as the host has a plan that allows for meetings longer than 40 minutes. Let me know if you have any additional questions! 😊

Have you heard of Zoom AI Companion?

Good morning from the UK,

I have to attend a meeting, how will I know what the host has paid, it is set up by the police for a driving offence and it will last up to 3 hours.

Will I have to pay ?

Kind regards

Pete
